Contents Page.

For inspriation for my contents page, i used a design and women magazines. I looked at how they used images to shape the page. I used the middle of the double page spread as the text alignment. I mirrored the image on the left, edited out the subject (legs 1) and then layered in the books and other image (legs 2).

I changed the font in correlation with the type of article. On the left, were articles on school and rule breaking. Where as on the right, the articles were about aiming for university and personal statements.

I chose the font colours as they were the same colours as the shoes in the photo and the colours chosen would stand out against the background.

For my contents page, i planned on using images. To do this i must plan another photoshoot, which i will take photos for this page. I have planned what will be included in the shot, the angle, shot type and distance, flashing/lighting, the background and details of editting,

I have also created a mock up page for my contents page, I have slightly changed the theme to make the page more interesting. Using different colours and fonts. The contents page is more design orientated than the front page.

It requires two more images to be taken, I will need to plan this photoshoot.

Final Cover

I have completed my final draft of my preliminary task front cover and I created it using Adobe Photoshop. I cut the model out using the magnetic lasoo tool and enlarged him to fit the brief of the preliminary task. I also cut out the background sky and replaced it as the original sky created a dark and decreased the aura of the image. I then used the text tool to create the titles, kickers and explanitory text.

The folder, the model was holding, made the use of the colour blue too frequent through out the image. I used the hue and saturation tool to edit and correct this
